Coinchip is an app designed for everyday individuals looking to kickstart their investment journey into the cryptocurrency ecosystem regardless of their crypto literacy. Serving as a DeFi intermediary, Coinchip uses spare change from a user’s bank account to build an automated, robust crypto portfolio for the user. Coinchip’s emphasis on simplicity, ease of access, and innovation was the perfect inspiration for Geneza to create a visual identity and experience that properly reflects these core attributes. A Chip off the block...After speaking with the founders, Geneza could better understand the unique offering Coinchip presented as a product and a service. With as low as $1, any user could begin making profits from crypto trading without stress.
This affordability and ease shaped the christening of the brand and birthed Coinchip, which encapsulates the brand’s vision of helping users own digital stock using little chips of their coin or spare cash.
Vault Level Safety
Security of the user is also one of Coinchip’s tenets; its DeFi investment strategies and dollar-cost averaging help maximize high APY yields whilst minimizing risk for the user. Geneza took this quality to heart and showcased it in the Brand Logo– Which is the first letter of the brand made to look like currency and placed in a Hexagonal vault, a shape synonymous with solidity and security. The resultant imagery is a classy, easily recognizable icon that screams world-class security for your cryptocurrency investments.
The Coinchip Standard
The Fintech scene is heavily saturated with crypto products and service providers. Coinchip stands head and shoulders above other brands with its innovative, future-focused, and strategic approach to cryptocurrency trading. Geneza replicated this uniqueness in Coinchip’s brand color palette, using Chartreuse and Black as the primary brand colors. The brilliance and simplicity of both colors guarantee visibility in an industry dominated by blue hues. Staying in character, Lilac, Vivid Sky, and Light Coral were selected as secondary brand colors. All of which share the same quality— Simple brilliance. Not to be left out, Geneza selected Garet, a modern geometric typeface characterized by a contemporary, friendly, masculine tone. Its distinctive oval shapes are derived from the optically perfect circle and closed counters. Garet is an easy-on-the-eye font with just the right amount of character and formality.
The Pièce de Résistance
Coinchip’s brilliance lies in simplifying complex processes in the crypto ecosystem, seamlessly bridging between decentralized and centralized systems. This, coupled with its potential for expansion into additional avenues to grow wealth, places Coinchip ahead of the competition. For the brand motion design, Geneza captured this futuristic, forward-thinking, innovative approach to crypto trading by adopting a design style called Hyperdrive, an exciting concept from science fiction relating to faster-than-light space travel. Characterized by fluid motion, streaks of light, and an abrupt reveal, this design portrays sophistication, technology, and security, consistent with Coinchip’s vision and drive.
